AFF (ASEAN Football Federation) Cup has evolved into the region’s biggest football tournament, followed by millions of viewers across Southeast Asia and is considered a great advertising opportunity by various multinational companies.

It is also probably the biggest final round of a football tournament that Malaysia has a chance of taking part in, without taking into account the SEA Games and Asian Games football competitions which were demoted into mere age-group tournaments.
